Paradise Locker Meats, Trimble, Missouri, won national recognition at the American Cured Meat Championships (ACMC) held June 19-21, 2014, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in conjunction with the 75th Convention of the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP).The ACMC annually draws entries from across the entire United States. This year there were 823 entries in 27 product categories.
Paradise Locker Meats was awarded 3rd Place, Champion, in the Traditional Boneless Ham class; and 2nd place, Place, Reserve Grand Champion, in the Semi-Dried Non-Fermented Sausage class. All entries were judged on the basis of aroma, flavor, eye appeal, color and texture.
